On Friday 24 February the Jaguars Class (year 5) from Castle Primary School in Ludgershall came to the science department at the Academy. We were working with them on their science topic of "Materials". By coming to the Academy the children were able to use our labs and equipment to carry out tests that they wouldn't have been able to do in their primary classroom. We laid on a series of practical activities for them to test a range of materials. These ranged from heating the materials to looking at them under a microscope.
Following the visit the pupils completed a short feedback form. They had all enjoyed the afternoon and most chose the microscope work as what they had enjoyed the most. Below are some pictures of the lovely thank you card we received.
